What’s your style? Relaxed, natural, story-telling photography. I shoot outdoors capturing my clients fully engaged with each other. Kids laughing because little brother tooted; mom and dad looking at each other with that look that says, “Of course Charlie just tooted!” Most photographers can take a photo where five people look at the camera and smile. My job? To capture the unique emotions and connections you have with your people, showcasing emotion, and your special love and personalities.

What’s the cost? Cost varies based on duration and the type of session. Pricing found below.

What should I wear? Once your session is booked I'll send you a detailed "What To Wear" document answering your questions.

How is payment handled? Once we’ve found a date that works for both of us, I’ll send you an invoice. Half of the payment is due upon booking to secure your date and the other half is due at the session.

How do I pay? Venmo, cash, or old-fashioned checks!

Do you take traditional or posed photos? Candids are my favorites but because most everyone loves a few posed/traditional images, I also capture those, too.

Where will my session be? Your session will be outdoors in either a natural or urban setting. Your choice. Whether you’re the field/woods/stream type or the alley/textured/city type, I have plenty of options for you.

I’m also up for new locations so if you have one you’d like to me scout out to see if it will work given the time of day of your session, I’m happy to do so. We’ll work together to find the perfect spot for you!

Should we bring items that we love to our session? Absolutely. My desire is for the artwork from your session to reflect who you are and not simply your beautiful faces. Items that are pieces of your story are treasures to capture for the generations to come.

If Janie is a snuggle-bunny, then let’s capture an image with her and that tattered stuffed animal while she explores the forest. Do you have a family quilt that your great-grandma made your mother? Please bring it and we’ll incorporate it into your session!

Maybe you take family walks after supper every night and those walks include the Red Flyer wagon. Bring it. Let's capture the little moments of your every day life, because in 30 years, you and your child will look at these photos and be transported right back to today, complete with warm fuzzies and tender memories.

What if something comes up and I have to reschedule? Whether it’s rain or illness or unforeseen circumstances, we work together to come up with a new date that works for both of us. I’m super flexible and realize that sometimes life just happens.
